International Quilt Festival - Quilt Scene is a recently released magazine by Quilting Arts. It is the second annual issue showcasing some of the quilts in the special exhibits on display at the Houston show last week. The annual IQA judged show, "Quilts: A World of Beauty," is one of the most revered international quilt competitions. This year 665 quilts were entered into the 23 categories and 377 were juried into the show.
Out of those 377 quilts, twenty were chosen to be showcased in the magazine. Our very own Beth Schillig's work,
JEEPERS...It's Jane! was among those chosen! Beth is a new member of SAQA and feels extremely honored to have her quilt showcased along with artists such as Ricky Tims, Denise Halan, Sharon Schamber, Gloria and Hansen and others. Congratulations Beth!! We are so proud to have you as a member of SAQA Ohio.
