Chase the winter chill away by attending the first SAQA Ohio Parlour Meeting of the year. The Parlour meeting is a joint meeting of Southwest and Central Ohio quadrants of SAQA Ohio and will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2011 in Beavercreek Ohio. Maria Elkins is hosting the event at:

Snacks and drinks will be served. Members should bring a few of their art quilts and business cards or postcards to share. The facility also has a digital projector available for anyone interesting in making a power point presentation or mini workshop. Friends are welcome. Please RSVP to Maria. Our very own Shelley Brenner Baird is one of 10 featured SAQA artists selected to participate in the Sightlines Exhibition sponsored by SAQA. Her piece is also featured in the beautiful hard cover book of the same name, available at the SAQA bookstore. It is unique in that it features a "centerfold" of all the works in the exhibition.
