SAQA Booth at IQF Cincinnati 2012

A great big thank you goes out to all of the SAQA members who volunteered their time to staff the SAQA Booth at the International Quilt Festival in Cincinnati April 12 -15 at the Duke Energy Center in downtown Cincinnati. Attendance was similar to last year's show, however, our sales were approximately $1200.00 above last year's figures. A sampling of the SAQA auction quilts was displayed in the booth and many visitors were impressed and perhaps will place bids on the quilts in September. We sold 10 SAQA memberships and renewals. The SAQA traveling exhibitions, A Sense of Adventure and Masters 2 were on display. Beth Schillig took the lead in organizing this year's event and did a superb job in the set up, tear down and staffing of the booth along with the help of Jen Siegrist.
